Sophie Puzey

I moved to the Lake District in 2023 from Somerset. I have enjoyed getting out to explore not only our local hills, but the freedom to explore lots the North of England.

Alongside paddling on all the lovely lakes around us!

Steve Ashworth

Steve has travelled the world in search of unclimbed lines in the mountains and has come to the conclusion that it doesn't get much better than a day out in Langdale.  When Steve isn't out running or climbing in the fells with his 2 boys and has to do some work he can be found running around the mountains with a camera.  Steve's work takes him around the world capturing the action with mountain sports events and working with outdoor brands as a film maker & photographer.

Jim Evans

Climbing & Mountaineering has been my passion since I was 15. I turned this into a career after studying at Charlotte Mason College, Ambleside and have been Lakes based since. Instructing and guiding in summer and winter has been a great excuse to travel to all continents apart from Antarctica, made up for by many trips to arctic Greenland. I joined LAMRT during covid which afforded the time to put into the rigorous training needed as an aspirant. I live in Ambleside with my wife and three teenage daughters and have recently taken on the role of Fell Top Assessor for LDNPA.
