Ash Cooper was the first person to climb all the 3000 foot peaks in GB and Eire in one continuous expedition in 1986, raising £14,000 for the British Leprosy Relief Association. For most of his adult life Ash has been a professional photographer. He spent 17 years travelling to every continent to document the impacts of climate change before publishing the award winning book, Images From a Warming Planet.
He now concentrates on photographing British birds. Ash has been a member of LAMRT for 33 years, holding the posts of both Team Secretary and Chairman.
