Olly is originally from Yorkshire so first developed his passion for the fells as a young boy navigating through the mist and rain in the Dales.
Over time walking developed into fellrunning, which progressed to climbing and mountaineering in the Lake District, Scotland and the Alps.
He worked as an instructor at a centre in Switzerland and finally settled in the Lake District national park in 2003, where he worked for a development training centre in Ambleside. He became a full team member in 2006 and qualified his dog (Kitt) as a Search and Rescue Dog in 2009.
Olly is now a qualified and practicing Paramedic.
